My residential phone is on the Do Not Call Registry. This number, which shows on caller ID as Palms Home Care has called this private residential phone this morning at 9:33, 9:41, 9:42, 9:48, 9:51, 9:54, 9:57, 10:00, 10:03, 10:04, 10:10, 10:16, 10:22, 10L23, 10:29, 10:34, and 10:40.
What does Palms Home Care not understand about the term DO NOT CALL? What is doubly irritating is that my phone service provider Comcast does not stop these calls when I am talking on the phone! How do these callers not get a busy signal? During a 1 hour conversation with someone in NC this morning, my Comcast telephone service overrode my conversation and answered 14 of the darn calls. While we were talking! How is that even possible? Palm Home Care ignores DO NOT CALL and Comcast overrides MY conversation, for which I am paying, in favor of some third party to allow that third party to intrude into my call! It seems to me that both Palm Home Care and Comcast are sort of hijacking my phone for purposes I cannot even begin to fathom. But I sure am the one paying for the phone (and memory). I am paying for. someone who is not even supposed to be calling my number, to interfere with my private conversations. Hmmm. That seems fair. I guess.
